The Morning After

It was still morning, shortly after landing at Punta Raisi, we were pulling our carry-ons toward the hotel hoping for an early check-in, when I noticed this arrangement left on a telecom box by the sidewalk. I’ll never know if it was intentional, but the bouquet of roses and the discarded cigarette butts were telling a story. Which one, I don’t know, I’ll leave it to you to imagine.
